Patsy Joan's New Dress

This is my new Patsy Joan.

I found her in a thrift store and she was wearing this outfit.

Not a great outfit for a 1930's era doll.

Looking through eBay I found this outfit.

It was made for a Patsy Joan doll.

It is hard to see what it really looks like, but I risked it!

It came with a slip and matching bloomers.

Here she is all dressed up!

I love the hand embroidered touches.

Such a sweet bonnet.

What a difference a dress makes!

Doll hats and new friends

I have been making doll hats lately.

I wanted a hat to match the dresses I have for my Cissy.

 Then I thought maybe other doll collectors might

enjoy my hats too.

I made up some various hats.

Sure enough they were well received!

I met a very nice Lady, named Donna, who asked for a special order.

During our back and forth about the colors and style hat

she wanted, Donna and I shared some photos of our Cissy's.

I asked if I could share her dolls with all of you

and she agreed.

Here is her Cissy wearing the bandeau hat I made for her!

Isn't she pretty!

I made her this feather fan as a surprise.

She asked me if I ever thought about making

fans, so this was my first attempt.

This is Donna's second Cissy.

Look at that beautiful stole.

 These dolls are pristine and so beautiful.
