These are lovely photos Brenda. It looks like everyone is having a wonderful time together. They are alll so beautifully dressed too! We don't celebrate thanksgiving here, but I love seeing and reading about how it is celebrated. I hope you, your family and all your readers have a lovely Thanksgiving. Anna
Thank you Anna! Yes, all the dolls had their own Thanksgiving feast as well. I’m so glad you enjoyed these photos. I made their stuffed turkey and hunted for items to use for foods on their plates. It was a lot of fun.
Hello Brenda, Thank you for the ThanksGiving greetings. I hope your Holiday was splendid - mine was yummy and tiring, I am still enjoying leftovers and my kitchen is just about spotless after all the cooking !
I did not get a lot of time to enjoy dolls, so I am slowly getting back to my sewing and knitting - yeah, normalcy ! How did you make that turkey in your dolls' dining room? I love props and making little goodies is a fun aspect of the doll hobby for me. You sure do have a lovely collection of accessories - thanks for setting all this up for your readers to enjoy!
Yes, we did have a lovely Thanksgiving. I am happy to hear yours was yummy and you had time to play dolls.
The turkey for my dolls was made from a tan cotton fabric. I just looked at some felt play turkeys and made up a pattern of my own. After it was sewn and stuffed, I painted it to look browned. There are a lot of patterns to make 'felt play food' for children online.
Happy Thanksgiving!
