Glamour Girl's Christmas

Cissy, Emily and Marylou are having their own
Christmas celebration.

Complete with Gingerbread cookies, hot
chocolate and candy canes.

This little guy came to join the party.

And look! He brought a friend.

The girls are all wearing Taffeta Christmas dresses.

Cissy is wearing a lovely forest green and black
Taffeta gown with black net and sparkly accents.

Emily is wearing a Royal blue and silver
Taffeta with a pilgrim collar.

Marylou is wearing a red plaid Taffeta
with gold ribbon accents.

After their party the girls just want to
put on comfy pajamas and relax in their apartment.
The girls have a new room arrangement.

A pretty pink tree.

A new rattan settee.

There is nothing like getting cozy with your pet and a book.

Emily is dozing.

Cissy and their poodle 'Cocoa'.

Everyone is pretty in pink

What a cozy and comfy end to the day.

JUST FOR FUN

  2. Thank you Charlotte,

I agree, I think taffeta for Christmas is so pretty. It's a bit shiny and looks elegant. A red plaid is SO Christmasy, I agree!

Your dolls are always fashionable, going "out on the town" or relaxing at home. I love the pretty dresses.

I tried to leave a comment on Sandra's new blog but it only allows comments if one logs in through Google.

  7. Thank you Linda,

Their room did have 2 twin beds, but now that Marylou has arrived, I thought they needed a sitting room instead. I'm glad you enjoyed seeing everything. I had fun setting it all up.

I am always happy when my friends here enjoy my posts. This is all just grown-up doll play. I hope you went back to see Sandra's blog. I think she adjusted the settings now. Her doll's dresses are beautiful.

  9. Thank you Jenny,

I had fun finding a third dress for Marylou that would blend with the other 2 dresses I already had. It gave me an excuse to buy a new doll dress! I love shopping for doll clothes.

  10. Their dresses are beautiful and so is their sitting room! Did you make any of the dresses, or are they more of your amazing restorations?

  11. Thank you Maryn,

Sadly, I did not make these dresses, but found them on Etsy. I have never made a dress for these 18-20" fashion dolls, funny huh? I did make a lot of things in their sitting room though. I made the dressing table, the quilt, the pillows and sofa. I'm so glad you enjoyed seeing their new sitting room.

Thank you Sandra and Brenda, I will go back and try to log on.

I love discovering new doll blogs. During these challenging times, I find myself drawn more to doll blogs then ever. They are happy places for me. And doll bloggers are the "front line" people who keep me sane. So thank you!!!

  20. Thank you Anna,

I love creating rooms for my dolls almost as much as the dolls themselves. I do like to think my dolls are happy to have found their new home. I like to think I gave them a second life.

    Merry Christmas
    Hugs
