Everyone look!
The Christmas tree is up!
Oooo, so pretty.
Ann, read us a Christmas story,
PLEEEEASE?
Alright, which book?
A Christmas Carol!
"Scrooge was his sole executor, his sole
friend and sole mourner."
I want to see the pictures.
"On Christmas Eve - old Scrooge
sat busy in his counting-house."
(reading, reading, reading)
""Are you the spirit whose coming was foretold to me?"
Asked Scrooge."
(reading, reading, reading)
"Scrooge was better than his word.
He did it all and infinitely more"
"God bless us everyone! Said Tiny Tim."
All right time for bed, Santa will be here soon!
Good night Ann.
Good night Patsy.
Good night Joan and Charlotte.
And to all a good night.
MERRY CHRISTMAS

Oh, my! This post is just beyond sweet... reading others' comments, I must echo what Dorothy in PA says. The littlest one leaning in to look at the pictures is an absolutely classic image. And everyone tucked up in bed - such sweet little dears!
ReplyDeleteI was sorry to hear that you and your family have been down for the count due to COVID, and am so glad that you're all now on the mend.
You have such a talent for story-telling with your lovely dolls and settings. I am SO glad to have been introduced to you, Brenda!
