Some more outfits for Patsy Joan

Whenever I get a new doll that I really love, I
always want to get 2 or 3 outfits just for her.
SO, as I was scanning through Vintage Doll Clothes
on eBay I found this outfit!
How cute is this coat and hat?

It is blue corduroy with pearl buttons.

AS if that wasn't enough it came with a dress and bloomers!!

How sweet is this?

The fabric has this tiny rose pattern.

Adorable!

Then I came across this copy of a vintage 1930s pattern.
I just love the Middy outfit.

And here it is!
I added a hat from the pattern.

I still need to get some red ribbon, but I'm very happy.

Patsy looks ready for the seashore.
And now Patsy Joan has a little wardrobe!

Thank you Rebecca! I am really pleased with how the sailor suit came out. When I saw the suit on the pattern I knew I had to make it.

Patsy Joan is a lucky little girl to be living at the Savage Dollhouse. Her new dress is cute as a button! She looks adorable!

Hi! I just found your blog and love it! Your Patsy Joan is so sweet! I had one years ago but sold her while trying to downsize. I so regret it now! There are lots of the very shiny ones, which are cute, but the ones like your's are my favorites and I hope to get another someday. Blessings to you!

Hi Carolyn, welcome to my blog! I love my Patsy Joan. I found her in a thrift store, can you believe it? Did you have a composition Patsy Joan or a reproduction? This doll is a reproduction, but I love her. Composition dolls scare me a little - they are so fragile and complicated to repair.

Hi Brenda. I have actually had both. Patsy is the only doll my Mama ever mentioned having as a little girl. So I decided that I wanted one after she passed away. So Hubby bought me a beautiful large Patsy Ann that was antique and I bought some of the other Patsy dolls to go with her. The heat and humidity here began to ruin them, so I sold them before they were too far gone. After that I bought some of the vinyl Patsy dolls. During one of my downsizing events, I sold them all. I have regretted selling my Patsy Joan with the matte finish vinyl, like your's. I have been searching for another one, which is what led me to your lovely blog. Low and behold I found one today on Etsy and bought her! I'm so happy and excited! :o)

Hi Brenda! I have actually had both. Patsy is the only doll my Mama ever mentioned having when she was a little girl. After she passed away, I decided that I wanted one. So hubby bought me a gorgeous big Patsy Ann made of compo and I bought some of the other compo dolls to go with her. The heat & humidity here in the South began to ruin them, so I sold them before they were too far gone. Then I started collecting the vinyl ones and ended up selling them in a downsizing purge. I missed my matte vinyl Patsy Joan that is like your's. So I have been searching everywhere I could think of to find one, that was a reasonable price. That's what led me to your beautiful blog. :o) Low and behold I found one today on Etsy and bought it. I'm so happy and excited! :o)

Oh! I am so excited for you!! I love getting new dolls. I was just posting about 2 new dolls when I saw your reply. I hope you post pictures on your blog!?! I wasn't sure about this Patsy when I found her - whether I would keep her or sell her. I am SO happy I kept her.

Thank you! She has not been shipped yet, but I am anxiously awaiting her arrival. I bought the blue coat set from ebay this morning. I was going to wait until after Christmas, but was afraid I might not find another one. I will definitely post about her on my blog. Thanks for sharing the excitement with me. :o)
