Hello Friends!

I just wanted to reach out to ALL my readers
and tell you how much I appreciate you
coming by and sharing all the doll fun.

I wanted to mention a couple things.

1.  I know some of you might be reluctant to
leave a comment. But it's really not complicated!
Just comment as "Anonymous" and
sign your name at the end
of your message.

This is what the comment box will look like.
Just choose "anonymous" and sign your name at the end.
No need to sign up for the blog or anything else.

The reason I pointed this out is because I
LOVE getting comments. It lets me know
that my blog is being enjoyed.

2.  You can email me at
thesavagedollblog@gmail.com

You can just email me to chat OR
send me photos of your dolls!
I would love to see them.
You can also ask me questions
and/or request a certain topic or doll for
a post on this blog.

I would love to know if there are certain dolls you'd
like to see more of?  Or perhaps questions
about how a doll was restored?
Maybe some more detailed photos of
the doll house?

I would really like to know what you are thinking.

I hope to hear from you soon!

Hugs, Brenda

Hi Brenda, I always find your posts to be fabulous. You have so many different types of dolls and such a great collection of accessories.
Please continue to wow us with more makeovers... As you find them and just plain changing their outfits fun.
I loved seeing your doll room clean up...hahaha. Mine is often in a state of
chaos too. But Creative sewing must have lots of things out to get the job done. Keep up your posts and sharing...its so wonderful.

Hi Carol,
Thank you! I so appreciate your kind words. I try to make my doll photos lovely and detailed. You would laugh if you went back to the start of this blog! I have learned a lot about photographing dolls over the years. I am in a sewing funk right now. I am trying to break through that since I have 2 new patterns!
Thanks again

Hi Doreen,
Thank you! I do enjoy playing with my.....I mean, being a serious collector of dolls. Ahem. I was afraid some readers might be scornful of my mess, but I think all of us doll lovers struggle with the minutiae of doll accessories. I just finished a Valentine's post and my room is a mess again!
Thanks again

I also enjoy all of your blog posts! I especially love your restorations and your doll clothes (both new creations and restored/ remodeled vintage pieces)!

Hi Anna,
Thank you! I am so pleased to know my blog can pick you up on some days. That means a lot to me. I was looking back and I have found SO many dolls I have never herd of either! It's a lot of fun finding those sad dolls sitting on a thrift store shelf. I swear I can hear them saying "take me with you!" when I pick them up!

Hi Mary,
Thank you! I must admit restorations are my favorite. I love taking an old forgotten doll and giving her new life. I have been looking at vintage doll clothes online, not finding much lately, but I do have 2 new patterns I should be doing something with. Hopefully soon!

Hi Susan,
Thank you! I have been so encouraged by the kind words this post has inspired. I am so glad my photos cheer you up. It is always my hope that others will enjoy my silly doll play. The Patsy Joan (Charlotte) in these photos is one of my favorite dolls. I am always asking myself, if you had to choose just a few of your dolls who would they be? Charlotte is at the top of the list.

I'm always checking for your new posts! Always fun! I like your doll clean-ups, showing off new old clothes and when you sew something new. I like the dollhouse posts too. There's just something about doll furniture and the tiny treasures that are so fun. Thank you for sharing these colorful pictures. Reminds me of spring. So looking forward to warmer weather! -Jennifer

Hi Jennifer,
Thank you! Everybody has been so kind, I guess I needed to hear that what I was doing was appealing and enjoyable for you all. I do love a good makeover. I have a love of miniature things as well, hence the dollhouse! Thanks again.
