Room Tour 2023

It's Room Tour 2023!!
Click on photos to see up-close!

My doll room is in my attic space, so we start by
going up the stairs.  I love seeing my
family quilts every day.

Straight across from the stairs is
this little amoire that is FULL of doll
clothes and fabric waiting to become
doll clothes.

On top are my China head dolls. The littlest one,
right in front, belonged to my grandma.
She is from the early 1900s. The doll in pink
standing behind her is a doll I restored.
She is also from the 1900s.

On the floor I have some misc. doll dressers and
a tiny camper waiting for a makeover.

As you turn left You see the big dresser and the
baby cradle.

These are my 2 big baby dolls, Puddin
and Bella. They are both Madame Alexander dolls.

On top of the big dresser I have a little carry case
room I made for my Tiny Betsy McCall.

I just love tiny doll rooms!

Moving along the top of the dresser is my
hatpin doll.  I recently gave her a makeover.

On the far left is my china baby doll that my
grandmother painted for me in the 1970s.

As you keep turning left you see my grandma's
secretary that is now a doll condo.
(Grandma loved dolls, so she would approve)

This condo houses my Little Miss Revlon dolls,
my Crown Princess and my
American Character Toni.

Behind the secretary is another room!

Here is where my 1930s Patsy dolls and my 1936
McGuffey Anna dolls have their beds.

A little rattan dresser I restored

Joan and Charlotte taking their dolls
out in the buggy.

I love little details.

That is my Grandma when she was
10 years old taken in 1931.
(She is the same grandma that painted my china
doll and would have loved this doll room!)

Anna showing off her new bed.

Looking past the 1930s area is a guest bed.
And next to it is...

The BIG DOLL HOUSE!

FIRST FLOOR
The living Room.

Cissy and Marylou relaxing in the living room.

The kitchen

Cissy and her little helpers getting ready for dinner.
On the left is 10” MA Lissy and on the
Right is 8” MA Wendy.

Julie and Grace's room on the end.

SECOND FLOOR
Martin's room.

Cissy and Marylou's room
(I made the beds and dressing table)

The dressing table.

Molly's room.

Molly's sewing machine and craft basket.

And Grace visiting in Emma's room.

THIRD FLOOR
The third floor is all Crissy growing hair dolls.
This is Shea and Crissy's room

This is Shea. She is a 1970s Crissy doll.
Her hair can grow and get short again.
Crissy dolls are 18" tall.
She shares this room with...

Crissy! Shea and Crissy are both "Crissy Dolls"
but they needed different names.

The dressing table.

Here is Cricket and Mia's room.

Mia and Cricket are both 15" tall.
These are dolls I played with as a
little girl.  I am reliving my childhood.

As we head back to the main room...

You can see my computer and sewing area.

I know, lots of stuff!!

To the right is this cabinet

Down on the floor, in my antique
rocking chair, are my Georgene
Raggedy Ann and Andy
from the 1940s.

On top of the cabinet is my Patsy Baby doll.

She is wearing her original christening gown
and jacket.  I made her bonnet from an
old handkerchief.

Inside the cabinet is another doll house
for my 2 Patsyette dolls.

Here's a close-up of Helena's bed and...

Lillibet's bed.  I made several of the quilts
throughout the doll room, including
these two.

To the right of the sewing area is my storage closet.
This closet is used to store doll dresses, clothes
shoes and purses.
Turn right and...

And here we are back were we started.

And down the stairs we go.

Say "Hi" to my mom!
Love you Mom!

Thanks for stopping by for our room tour!
I hope you enjoyed it.

Hi Sandra!
Thank you so much! I do love my doll room. I have so much fun adding little miniature items here and there. I have collected a lot of little vintage doll quilts and made some new quilts myself. It makes me so happy to share my doll room with my doll friends.

Hi Sarah,
Thank you! I have a rule that everyone in my doll room must have a place to sleep. This is a way I keep my collection from getting crazy. I am so pleased you enjoyed my doll room. That is why I do this. I consider photo sharing as adult play dates.
